Why is my device not shown in the device list?

The device must be onboarded using the enrollment workflow.

  • Verify that the device enrollment completed without errors.
  • Check any filters in the device list (status, tags, search text) that might be hiding the device.

How do I send commands?

  1. Select your device in the device list.
  2. Select the command to run from the dropdown on the right.
  3. Confirm any required parameters for the selected command.
  4. View the results in the Command History.

Why is my device not responding to commands?

Your device may be offline, or otherwise unreachable. Consider using the CLI to monitor for device traffic.

Also check:

  • Network connectivity and any firewall/proxy settings on the device.
  • That the agent service is running on the device.
  • That the device time and time zone are correct.

What browsers are supported?

Use a modern browser version for the best experience, for example:

  • Latest Chrome
  • Latest Edge

If you see display or interaction issues:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies for the Snapdragon Guardian URL.
  • Try using an incognito/private window.
  • Try another supported browser.

I see an error when opening the Snapdragon Guardian UI. What should I do?

Try the following steps:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Clear browser cache and cookies for the Snapdragon Guardian URL and sign in again.
  3. Confirm you are connected to the corporate network or VPN if required.
  4. If the issue persists, capture a screenshot and the browser console error and share it with the support team.

Why do I not see any data or devices after logging in?

Possible reasons:

  • Your user account does not yet have the required permissions or roles.
  • Filters on the device list are hiding devices (status, tags, search keyword).

Actions:

  • Remove or reset filters in the device list.
  • Confirm with your admin or support that you have access to the correct organization and roles.

How do I filter or search for a specific device?

Use the search and filter controls in the device list:

  • Search by device identifier (for example, name, ID, or other visible identifiers).
  • Apply filters such as status, tags, or other available attributes.
  • Clear all filters if the device is not found, then search again with fewer constraints.

Where can I see command execution history and results?

Use Command History:

  • Open the Command History view or panel.
  • Filter by command or status.
  • Click an entry to see details such as start time, completion time, status, and output (if available).

What should I check if a command is stuck in pending state?

Check the following:

  • Ensure the device is online and connected to the network.
  • Confirm that the device agent client is running.
  • Verify that there is no ongoing reboot or update on the device.
  • Try sending a simple test command to see if any commands are processed.

If commands remain pending for a long time across many devices, contact the support team with details.

How do I know which commands are supported on my device?

  • The command dropdown for a selected device shows the commands available for that device.
  • If a command you expect is missing, check device compatibility or contact support for clarification.

Who do I contact for access issues or role changes?

If you cannot access the Snapdragon Guardian UI, or you believe your role/permissions are incorrect:

  • Contact your project or team administrator.
  • Provide your username, the URL you are accessing, and a brief description of the issue.
  • If there is a designated distribution list or support alias for Snapdragon Guardian in your organization, use that channel.
